In celebration of Black Business Month, Fitler Club and Build the Table partner to present Build the Table: Converting Vision to Value, an intimate cinematic experience celebrating creativity, entrepreneurship, ownership, storytelling, and collaboration.

On Monday, August 31, 2026, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, artists, creatives, civic leaders, and changemakers will gather at Fitler Club to explore how creative vision can become sustainable opportunity, and how storytelling can help strengthen businesses, communities, and Philadelphia's creative economy!

The evening features three films spotlighting Philadelphia entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives:

A short documentary following Dominic Capers and Thomas Davis as they transform their passion for sustainability and vintage into a purpose-driven business rooted in entrepreneurship, community, and legacy in West Philadelphia.

The Time Thief
Filmmaker: Kyra Knox, Emmy Award-Winning Filmmaker & Director
Featuring: Steven CW Taylor, Founder, Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery

An intimate documentary highlighting Steven CW Taylor's creative journey as an award-winning photographer and the first Black owner of Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery, celebrating the power of art, ownership, and cultural storytelling.

Build the Table: The Daily Dressings™ Brand Story
Filmmaker: Jaxon, Emmy Award-Winning Filmmaker & Founder, NOT|JAX Productions

An intimate documentary following entrepreneur Tiara Brown as she transforms Daily Dressings™ from a jewelry brand into a platform for creativity, collaboration, and economic empowerment, demonstrating how storytelling can inspire community and sustainable entrepreneurship.
